E-Scooters – Know the Law

Dear Resident,

As the new school term has started and we hope everyone had a lovely summer holiday.

We would like to remind residents that privately owned e-scooters are illegal to use on public roads, pavements, cycle lanes and other public places.

Please take a moment to read and share the attached leaflet, especially with young people.

Your local Safer Neighbourhood Team will continue to deal with illegal e-scooter use. 

If we see e-scooters being ridden illegally, riders may be reported and the e-scooter may be seized.
